Length

Cost
The cost is $300 for a
50-minute session.
Payment
I accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
Insurance
If your health insurance allows you to choose an out-of-network provider, as most PPO plans do, I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company to verify coverage for out-of-network providers and rates of reimbursement. (reimbursify.com is a useful reimbursement resource.)
Note that I’m unable to take Anthem Medi-Cal clients at this time.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved for you. If you must cancel your session, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying the full cost.
Your Right to Know
Your Costs
If you don’t have health insurance or you plan to pay for therapy yourself, I’ll provide you with a good-faith estimate when you schedule an appointment, which I’m required to do by law.
The No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for your care before your first appointment.
This applies to you if you are uninsured, paying out of pocket, or choosing not to use your insurance. Please ask me for a written Good Faith Estimate before or when scheduling your first appointment. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your mental health care needs. For example, this may include the cost of psychotherapy sessions and any other related services that I provide. The estimate is based on the information known at the time I create the estimate and doesn’t include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment.
Note that this isn’t a bill, but the amount you can expect to pay for your therapy with me.
