Why not? Therapy is a creative way to discover more about yourself and your inner truth. You may just want some perspective, time for yourself, or a person to listen who’s not connected to you, your friends, or your family. It can provide insight into why and how you act in certain ways, and it’s a safe way to access challenging material.

Note that I’m unable to take Anthem Medi-Cal clients at this time. If your health insurance allows you to choose an out-of-network provider, as most PPO plans do, I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company to verify coverage for out-of-network providers and rates of reimbursement. (reimbursify.com is a useful reimbursement resource.)

Yes! Legally, the only time I’m allowed to share information about a client is if I’m subpoenaed by a court or if I believe they're going to cause danger to themselves or someone else. In the latter case, only pertinent information would be shared with law enforcement in order to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

The number of sessions varies from person to person. At times, clients come in to work on a very specific issue, and once it feels resolved or shifts, we close. Others refer to therapy as “going to the gym for the mind” and see it as an ongoing process of support.

As we continue to get to know each other, I’ll answer any questions you have that came up since our free 15-minute consultation session. We’ll dive deeper into what drew you to therapy.
